Product structure

1. PET material:
PET, polyethylene terephthalate, is commonly referred to as polyester. Its English name is Polyethylene Terephthalate. It is produced through a polymerization (condensation reaction) of two chemical raw materials: terephthalic acid (PTA) and ethylic glycol (EG).
2. Bottle Cap Basics
The diameters of the bottle caps that can pass through are Ф18, Ф20, Ф22, Ф24, Ф28, Ф33 (corresponding to the T size of the bottle cap), and the thread specifications are usually classified as: 400, 410, 415 (corresponding to the number of thread turns). Generally speaking, we say that 400 represents 1 turn of thread, 410 represents 1.5 turns of thread, and 415 represents 2 turns of thread at a higher position.

3. Bottle body
The body of PP and PE materials is mostly in solid color. PETG, PET, and PVC materials are mostly transparent or have colored transparency, giving a translucent effect. Solid color is used less. PET material bottle bodies can also be sprayed with colors. The bottom of the blow-molded bottle has a raised dot. It is brighter under light. The bottom of the blow-in bottle has a bonded line.
4. Accessories
The blow molding accessories mainly include inner stoppers (commonly made of PP and PE materials), outer caps (commonly made of PP, ABS, acrylic, and also electroplated, and electrocoated aluminum, and spray-applied toner and astringent lotion often use), pump head covers (commonly used for essence and lotion), long caps, and flip caps (flip caps and long caps are mostly used in large-scale daily chemical production lines).

Cosmetic application

PET bottles are widely used in the cosmetics industry,
mainly in the personal care sector.
Among them, shampoo bottles, body wash bottles, toner bottles, and makeup remover oil bottles,
all are produced through blow molding.

Notes for Attention

1. The materials that can be used for bottle blowing include PET, but there are others such as PE (softer, mostly in solid color, one-time molding), PP (harder, mostly in solid color, one-time molding), PETG (has better transparency than PET, but is not commonly used in China, has high cost and high waste, one-time molding, non-recyclable material), PVC (harder, not environmentally friendly, has worse transparency than PET, but better than PP and PE).
2. One-step equipment is expensive, while two-step equipment is relatively cheaper.
3. PET bottle molds are relatively cheaper.
